Enriqueta Somarriba is a celebrated Spanish pianist known for her dynamic performances that merge the rich traditions of Spanish and classical music. Having performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the National Auditorium in Madrid, Somarriba’s talent has been praised for her expressive and nuanced interpretations. She collaborates with renowned orchestras worldwide and has been a soloist with the Virtuosi Brunensis Orchestra and the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, among others. Somarriba’s passion for Iberian composers is reflected in her repertoire, where she highlights the unique soundscapes of Spanish music, blending it seamlessly with classical traditions. 

Beyond her performance career, Somarriba is deeply committed to educating future generations of musicians. As the Director of Education at SpeakMusic Conservatory, she plays a pivotal role in programs like Symphony Scholars in partnership with State Theatre New Jersey, the New Brunswick Public School District, and Edison High School. This program gives young musicians from local schools access to classical performances and educational workshops, providing a platform for hands-on learning and cultural engagement. Her work with STNJ's Symphony Scholars program emphasizes her dedication to nurturing future musicians and fostering a love for classical music in the next generation.
