Franz Gürtelschmied, awarded the Austrian Music Theatre Prize, has performed Tony in West Side Story, Barinkay in Gypsy Baron, and roles in Mozart and Wagner. He has worked with conductors including Philippe Jordan (Parsifal), Franz Welser-Möst, (Der Rosenkavalier), and Lothar Zagrosek (Tristan und Isolde). He also recitals with pianist Stephan Matthias Lademann, performing Schubert, Schumann, Beethoven, and Strauss. In 2025, he debuts as the Italian Singer in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier.
