Audrianna Hughes is a Paducah, KY native who has found her passion for teaching and performing. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Murray State University which she now calls her Alma Mater.
Back in March, she won the Reginald Smith, Jr. Diversity Scholarship in Opera Graduate Award and the Graduate 2nd prize at the Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition at the University of Kentucky where she was granted a Full Graduate Teaching Assistantship to attend the University of Kentucky. She is now pursuing her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and studying with Dr. Everett McCorvey.
This past summer, she performed as an ensemble member and featured soloist in “It’s a Grand Night for Singing!” with the UK Opera Theatre and will be performing the role of Mrs. Ott in the opera “Susannah” by Carlisle Floyd. She is super excited about what’s next in her journey with the UKOT!
