Sammy Rae & The Friends

Did you know?

Sammy Rae & The Friends frontwoman, Sammy Rae, formed the band after moving to New York from Connecticut in her early 20s. Finding herself without a built-in peer group, she simply built it herself: the literal and proverbial Friends.

From EPs The Good Life (2018) and Let’s Throw a Party (2021), to sold-out shows across North America, the UK, and Europe, to high-profile festivals around the world, their fanbase is based on friends telling friends. With the release of their debut album Something For Everybody in 2024, Sammy Rae & The Friends have come to represent more than just a band: they are a full-on movement being adopted with refreshingly diverse clientele.

The band’s touring repertoire includes headlining Summerstage NYC and Eventim Apollo London and playing other festival shows including Bonnaroo, Sound on Sound, All Things Go, Green River Festival, XPoNential Music Festival, and Mooncrush.

Tonight's performance marks Sammy Rae & The Friends' Wolf Trap debut.
