Labelled as a favorite up-and-coming touring artist for 2023, Celisse is a multi-instrumentalist with a blues-tinged, “church-bred” voice. She’s performed on Broadway in Godspell and has played electric guitar in backing bands for Lizzo, Jon Batiste, and Joni Mitchell. She’s currently working on her debut album, which is set to include rock, soul, funk, and gospel flairs.
