Tong Xu
Ensemble

Tong Xu is excited to join the amazingly talented production team of Something Rotten!. Tong graduated from Beijing Film Academy majoring in Sound Production for Film. She played multiple supporting roles in a well-known Chinese drama called The VI Group of Fatal Case. In 2022, Tong's Weathervane journey began with the role of Sandra in Waiting (one of the 8x10 TheatreFest’s 10-minute plays), continued by playing Mrs. White in Clue, JoJo in Newsies, and Michelle/a nun in Sister Act last year. Off stage, Tong enjoys leading her cardio dance classes as a fitness instructor and being a community interpreter. She is also a vocalist/pianist for a local folk/rock band called hand+noise. Tong wants to thank her family and friends for all their love and support.
