New Century concludes its season with an evening of Mozart’s masterworks that span the composer’s lifetime. Music Director Daniel Hope shares the stage with American violist Paul Neubauer for the Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra. Hope also leads New Century in two of Mozart’s symphonies: beginning with the delightful B-flat Major Symphony K. 45b from his childhood and concluding with the beloved G minor Symphony No. 40, among his final works.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony in B-flat Major K. 45b
W.A. Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major for Violin, Viola and Orchestra K. 364
W.A. Mozart: Symphony No. 40 in G minor K. 550
