Join Orchestra Indiana, featuring Artistic Director/Conductor candidate Yaniv Segal as we celebrate the universal language of music and tradition in this memorable and epic program. First, tap your toes as folk-inspired dance pieces by Dvorak and Michael Schachter intertwine with Mexican composer Horacio Fernandez's symphonic take on Bachata and Reggaeton. Complete your symphonic journey by following the famous “fate” motive of Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony as it metamorphoses from solemn and somber to triumphant and majestic.
This concert is one of five being presented in the 2024-2025 season featuring Artist Director/Conductor candidates and is being offered free and open to the public as part of Orchestra Indiana’s efforts to reintroduce orchestral music to the community and engage new audiences in East Central Indiana.
