Bringing Junie B. Jones the Musical to life at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts has been a joyful adventure from start to finish. This process has been filled with laughter, creativity, and the kind of child-like wonder that reminds us why we fell in love with theatre in the first place. Junie B.’s world is full of big feelings, silly mishaps, and unexpected discoveries—and in many ways, rehearsals have echoed that same spirit of play and imagination.
What makes this story so special is how it invites us to celebrate imperfection, curiosity, and the bravery it takes to be yourself. In working with this wonderful cast and creative team, I have been reminded daily of the importance of seeing the world through fresh eyes and of finding joy in even the smallest moments.
I hope as you watch today, you laugh freely, remember your own first days of school, and leave with a little more of Junie B.’s fearless spark in your step.
With gratitude,
Nathan Trementozzi
