Summer: The Donna Summer Musical holds a profoundly special place in my heart. I had the honor of portraying Diva Donna on the Broadway National Tour, an experience that allowed me to study her artistry, her humanity, and her resilience from the inside out night after night. That time shaped not only my understanding of Donna Summer as a performer, but as a woman navigating joy, faith, love, and the cost of brilliance.
As a director, I approach this production with deep reverence for Donna’s story and an unwavering commitment to telling it truthfully. This musical is more than a celebration of iconic music for me. It's a portrait of a woman who changed the sound of a generation while remaining fiercely herself.
It has been my mission to guide this company in creating a production that entertains, educates, and inspires. I want audiences to not only see Donna as a superstar, but as a human being whose story still resonates with so many today. I am incredibly proud of the artists bringing this vision to life and grateful to share Donna’s light with you.
