The Puerto Rican superstar singer-songwriter has sold millions of albums worldwide since his debut in 1993. His albums and singles have been RIAA-certified Multi- Platinum, Platinum and Gold. He has received a combined total of 20 Latin Grammy® and Grammy® nominations throughout his illustrious career and is a two-time Latin Grammy®-winner. He is also honored with five Guinness World Records for his chart success.
He’s charted an incredible 47 singles on Billboard Hot Latin Songs and a record 29 #1’s on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart. He also holds the record for most charting hits (78) and Top 10 hits (62) on the chart. He’s notched 12 #1 Tropical albums and one #1 Latin Pop album (2009’s Muy Personal). Awards include six Billboard Latin Music Awards, including the 2019 Tropical Album of the Year for 25/7, a Latin American Music Award, four Premio Lo Nuestro, 14 Premios ASCAP including the Golden Note Award, Premio Icono from the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, three HTV Premios Heat, among others. His 2016 single, “Imaginar” a duet with urban star Yandel was named the #1 Billboard Tropical Airplay song of 2016.
2018 was a milestone year for Manuelle as he celebrated his 25th anniversary in music and released the studio album 25/7 through Sony Music Latin. The album featured duets with Bad Bunny, Farruko, Juan Luis Guerra, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Yandel. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard Latin Album Sales chart, #1 on iTunes and became his record twelfth #1 on Tropical albums. The album won the Latin American Music Award for Favorite Tropical Album and won two Latin Grammy® awards including Best Tropical Song. His 2015 song, “Que Suenen Los Tambores” became a huge hit topping the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for eight weeks and the national Latin Airplay chart for two weeks. Follow up singles, “Agua Bendita” and “No Quería Engañarte” also topped the Tropical charts for three weeks each and Manuelle finished 2015 as the #1 Tropical Airplay Artist of the Year. The album received a Grammy® nomination, two Latin Grammy® nominations, won Tropical Album of the Year at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including four additional nominations, 4 Premio Lo Nuestro nominations, two Premios Tu Mundo nominations, a HTV Premio Heat for Favorite Tropical Artist, and a Premio ASCAP for “Agua Bendita.”
