MESSAGE FROM THE CO-FOUNDERS AND PRODUCERS MARION AND ATTILA GLATZ

It is an absolute pleasure to welcome you back to Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concert.

By attending this year’s concert, you are participating in a storied tradition. For well over 25 years, families, friends, and communities from all walks of life have come together in shared appreciation of these timeless waltzes, soaring overtures, and resplendent arias, and to celebrate the unique power of music to transcend language and culture.

Even in an increasingly complicated and turbulent world, the works of Johann Strauss and his contemporaries continue to shine through the darkness. This music offers a beacon of inspiration, joy, and hope for the days ahead.

Each year, this celebration reminds us all how important it is to find reasons to connect with one another, to indulge in the things that bring us joy, and to express our gratitude for all the blessings in our individual lives.

Thank you once again for welcoming 2024 with us in style! Marion and Attila Glatz

Founders of Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concert recipients of the Austrian Government’s Decoration of Merit in Gold in recognition of their promotion of Viennese musical traditions.
