Eva Christmann
French Horn

Eva Christmann is a French horn player from Cleveland, Tennessee, with a strong background in performance, education, and leadership. She has performed with a range of ensembles, including the Cleveland High School Marching Band and Wind Ensemble, Lee University’s Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, and currently serves as Principal Horn, Student Manager, and President of the Members’ Advisory Council for the Chattanooga Youth Symphony.

Over the past four years, Eva has been actively involved in numerous chamber groups through the CYS Chamber Ensemble Program and has been a three-time competitor in the CYS Concerto Competition. Her experience also includes participation in prestigious clinics such as the TNMEA All-State Senior Clinic and ETSBOA All-State East Senior Clinic.

With a growing repertoire of solo and orchestral works, Eva is a passionate and dedicated young musician in the classical music community. She is graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Homelife Academy and plans to pursue studies in both Music and Biological Sciences in the fall.

What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
Don’t be afraid to audition and get involved! The CYS is a great opportunity to connect, share, and grow your passion as a musician with other dedicated students in the area. Take the leap—you won’t regret it!
