Originally from Bridgeton, New Jersey, Spencer Wetherington began dancing at age four and later trained at the School of Philadelphia Ballet. After graduating from St. Augustine Prep, he studied at Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet Academy, earning second place at Dance Moscow. He danced with Atlanta Ballet 2 and was promoted to apprentice in 2020. Repertoire includes works by Ochoa, Lubovitch, Tomasson, and Schreier, including the role of Romeo in Romeo and Juliette at the National Cathedral.
