Nathan Young, originally from Oklahoma, holds a BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Now in his seventh season with Grand Rapids Ballet under James Sofranko, he previously danced four seasons with Nashville Ballet. Nathan has performed works by Wheeldon, Kylián, Lubovitch, Saunders, and Rowe. He has also choreographed for Grand Rapids Ballet’s Jumpstart series and performed with Kansas City Dance Festival and National Choreographers Initiative, continuing to shape his career through performance and creation.
