One of Southern California’s most acclaimed young jazz vocalists, Lia Booth has quickly gained recognition for her engaging and heartfelt performances, building a devoted fan base with her vibrant, dynamic style. Her approach to jazz is bold yet effortless, blending a deep respect for tradition with a contemporary flair that revitalizes classic standards with every performance.

Lia began her musical journey in the prestigious college vocal jazz ensembles Singcopation (Mt. San Antonio College, under the direction of Bruce Rogers) and Pacific Standard Time (Cal State Long Beach, directed by Christine Guter). These formative experiences included multiple recording projects, appearances at renowned venues like the Monterey Jazz Festival, and earning two DownBeat Magazine Outstanding Soloist awards.

For nearly 15 years, Lia has performed at popular jazz venues across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties, collaborating with both the region’s rising “jazz lions” and seasoned veterans. Among her notable collaborations are performances with jazz icons such as Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Tony Guerrero, and Crystal Lewis.
