Juliana Sass is a Brooklyn based actor and is thrilled to be making her CTW debut in Hartford! Theater work includes originating the leading role of Shelby in the world premiere of Kimberly Belflower’s John Proctor is the Villain (Studio Theater, Helen Hayes nominated for Outstanding Lead Performer in a Play, winner for Best Play & Best Ensemble), Julius Caesar (Theater for a New Audience), Erica Schmidt’s Macbeth, and Dry Land (Portland Theater Festival, dir. Taylor Reynolds). Passionate about new works, she has acted in readings and workshops at Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theater, The New Group, Ars Nova and NYSAF and is a company member with The Goat Exchange. Film credits include A Call to Spy, Radium Girls, and The Sisterhood of Night. She graduated with a BA in Comparative Literature from Harvard University.
