Caleb Mayo has appeared in three Concert Theatre Works productions. He originated the title role in Peer Gynt with the BSO in 2018, performed it with the Symphony Orchestras of Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and St. Louis, and reprised it in Boston for the BSO's 2024 season. He also appeared with the BSO at Tanglewood in 2017's Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream and 2025's debut of Romeo and Juliet. Caleb began his classical training at age 11 with the Rebel Shakespeare Company and continued his education with Shakespeare & Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and the American Repertory Theater. He made his professional debut at 15 with the Huntington Theatre Company's To Kill a Mockingbird, and went on to earn his BA in Drama from Vassar College, during which he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He followed his degree by appearing in a full season with the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., and he has worked since then in film (One Eyed Monster), television (Criminal Minds), new media (WTUFO), and regional theatre across the U.S.
