Patrice Fitzgerald is an author, publisher, and former intellectual property attorney. In her role as the owner of a boutique publishing company, she manages a handful of other authors and assists those who are interested in self-publishing. Working previously as a freelance writer, she appeared in The Hartford Courant, Connecticut Lawyer, Hartford Magazine, and other publications.
Patrice also sings, and has performed locally with the Hartford Chorale, CONCORA, and Vallis Musicae, as well as on choral tours to Europe and South America. She appeared at the 2017 Festival Fringe in Edinburgh with her husband, where the duo shared jazz, standards, and Broadway rep. Ms. Fitzgerald (along with 100 or so friends) has also performed under the baton of maestros Seiji Ozawa and Michael Tilson Thomas with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Mstislav Rostropovich with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.
Patrice directs plays and musicals and often appears in them—though not usually at the same time. She has four fairly grown-up children and one mischievous rescue pup, and lives with her husband in West Hartford.
