Marissa Madonna received her BFA in Illustration at Hartford Art School in 2012. She specializes in portraiture and embraces traditional techniques of drawing and painting. Much of her work uses a mixed media approach combining colored pencil with acrylic ink. Her illustrations have been featured in numerous publications and television appearances, including sports illustration for ESPN. Marissa also has a background in music from a young age, having played clarinet in various bands and musical productions in her home state of New Jersey. Outside the illustration studio, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two-year old son.
