SOPHIE SHOEMAKER (she/her) - Assistant Director
Sophie is thrilled to join the Tempest team! Born and raised in San Francisco, Sophie is a rising senior at WashU, where she writes, directs, and takes on a range of production roles in student theater – most recently writing and directing an original full-length play, Stephen Hero. Professionally, she has directed at the Marsh, served as a theater management intern at SFBATCO, and most recently worked as an electrician and board op at Broadway Rose in Portland, OR.
