Bridgette Loriaux joins Marin Shakespeare for a second year, having directed last season’s Twelfth Night. Recently, 2 ½ BREATHS, a play she wrote, directed, and choreographed made its World Premiere off-Broadway debut on May 19, 2022 at the Chain Theatre in New York City. She began her professional career as a cast member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Then cast in the NYC off-Broadway show De La Guarda. After a year and half, toured internationally with the company until 2005. She humbly travelled the world performing and teaching in South America, Europe, the UK, Russia, and Asia, which ultimately led her to performing for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. She then spent a year in Egypt and created Le Petite Mort for Darb1718, moved to Dubai, to design and produce luxury events throughout the Middle East and the Gulf as head of show production for Uneeq Entertainment. Currently, she resides in Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada where she is the co-owner of 20/20 ChiroYoga working with her husband, Dr. Jason Bauer through the fusion and healing of chiropractic and yoga therapy. She has continued to direct and choreograph for TheatreFIRST, Anton’s Well Theater Company, Shotgun Players, and High School Theatre Arts Departments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
