Steve most recently appeared in the roles of Dan and Bill in Jonathan Spector’s Best Available with Shotgun Players, as Charles Webb in Thornton Wilder’s Our Town with Ross Valley Players, and as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night with Marin Shakespeare for which he received a San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critics Circle nomination for Featured Performance in a Comedy. Steve has also played roles with Marin Shakespeare over the last seven seasons including Brabantio in Othello, Holofernes in Love’s Labor’s Lost, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing, Hastings in Richard III, and Polonius in Hamlet. Steve also has played many roles at Ross Valley Players including Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird, Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey, Major Metcalf in The Mousetrap, Howard Bevins in Picnic (SFBATCC nomination), The Government Inspector (SFBATCC award Best Principal Performance) and Native Gardens (SFBATCC nomination).
