Theresa Egan (she/her,Nettie Fowler U/S/ensemble) is thrilled to return to the Music Theater Works’ stage this summer! She was last seen as ensemble in the company’s 2023 production of BRIGADOON. An active crossover singer and teacher, she has sung with companies throughout the United States and Europe. Local credits include: the Broadway in Chicago Summer Concert, Theo Ubique, and Haymarket Opera. Some of her favorite roles are: “Mrs. Lovett” (SWEENEY TODD); “Martha Jefferson” (1776); “Ilona” (SHE LOVES ME); “Musetta” (LA BOHEME); “Susanna” (LE NOZZE DI FIGARO), and “Papagena” (THE MAGIC FLUTE). In addition to performing, Theresa is the director/instructor for Theresa Egan Studios, which is geared towards musical theatre and classically trained professionals, as well as college bound teens. Her students have performed in Broadway National Tours, in addition to local favorites: Music Theater Works, The Goodman, Marriott, Kokandy, Porchlight Music Theatre, Metropolis, and many more!
