Bryson Finney, educator, songwriter and musician happily resides in LaVergne, TN. A music educator at heart, he has served as a General Music Teacher, Piano Instructor and Choir Instructor in the public school setting for nearly a decade in both North Carolina and Tennessee. Bryson has continued supporting a diverse array of educational efforts as an Instructional Coach, serving Nashville area schools district-wide. The role involves researching, training and modeling best practices around effective uses of technology integration for all content areas. In addition to his work in public education, Bryson has worked with the Nashville Symphony as the Accelerando Coordinator supporting the development of students from diverse ethnic background for careers in music. He has worked with WPLN-Nashville Public Radio on their Fisk Jubilee Singers Radio Special, the CMA Foundation as the Music Technology Content Lead for their Unified Voices for Music Education Initiative, recipient of a 2021 Regional Emmy as a songwriter for “We Are Nashville” and 2022 Yamaha 40 under 40 in Music Education recipient. Bryson is the Co-founder, Coordinator and Program Director of the “We Are Nashville” annual Music Festival. The festival is designed to reach students and families from all over Music City, with a mission of building community through the art form of music.
