Weston Corey (Lighting Designer) is a proud VCU graduate with a BFA in lighting design, and is currently a full time staff member for the theatre department. He has worked all throughout the country on various projects including theatre, dance, events and architecture. He spent several years as the Lighting Director and Resident Lighting Designer for The Sharon L. Morse PAC in The Villages, FL, where he designed: Proof, Bad Jews, Frankie and Johnny, Company, Red, Tell Me on a Sunday, and The Story of My Life and worked with many touring shows, from Broadway to rock concerts. After returning to Virginia in 2018, he has been heavily involved with the RVA theatre scene. Recent designs at Riverside include: Next To Normal, Jesus Christ Superstar, They’re Playing Our Song, Beautiful, and Christmas Spectacular, as well as many others.
