VERA BARFIELD (Susan Waverly) is thrilled to return to the stage at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts, where she most recently appeared as Brigitta in The Sound of Music. Other Riverside credits include Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka. Over the past few years, she has embraced live theater, performing in Zink, A Christmas Carol, and Elf: The Musical at Four County Players in Barboursville, VA. She also co-starred as Elsa in her 5th-grade production of Frozen Jr. Now 13 years old and in 8th grade, Vera enjoys dancing, learning to play guitar, playing percussion in her school band, and spending time with her five siblings. She thanks her parents for always supporting her dreams and her Grammy for sparking a lifelong love of the arts by taking her to her very first musical at age 3.
