Andrea Candea-Carroll (she/her) attended Longwood University, earning her BA in Theatre Arts and completed her MS in Learning Experience Design from WGU. She has been teaching middle school theatre in Stafford County, VA since 2011, directing a variety of productions, including improvisation, student written work, one acts and full lengths, and, of course, musicals! Before becoming a trustee for the Riverside Center, she was a member of the Riverside Foundation for the Performing Arts. She loves getting to share her love of theatre with her daughter, who saw her first musical here at Riverside as a toddler. Andrea also loves cats, pasta, and any excuse to pull out a sewing machine or a paintbrush!
