Jordyn Schaefer is a performer and passionate creative with performing expertise in the musical theatre, film, and voice industries. Since completing her B.A. in Visual Communications in 2022 at the Open Window Institute, and her Musical Theatre LTCL through Trinity College London at Stageworx Performing Arts School, Schaefer has continued to pursue her performing career on stage and on screen while freelancing as a designer, animator, and photographer.

Schaefer has most notably performed in the officially selected Oscar® and BAFTA qualifying short film, Lil_ith, and as Wednesday Addams in the South African premiere of The Addams Family Musical at the Homecoming Centre (Formerly the Fugard) in Cape Town.

Her recent theatre credits include VR Theatrical’s Jungle Book (Kaa & Raksha) at the Pieter Toerien Theatre & Afriforum Theatre, Tessa Denton’s Wizard of Ahh’s (Dorothy) at Hotel Sky’s infinity auditorium, Janice Honeyman’s Pinocchio Pantomime (Ensemble) at the Joburg Theatre, Born To Perform (featured alumni soloist) through Stageworx Productions and Howard Events at the Teatro, Bluey’s Big Play (Chilli) at the Artscape and Teatro theaters through Showtime, Janice Honeyman’s Malo (Kicksie) at the Cirk, Meatloaf:The Rebel Ride (lead supporting vocalist) at the Cirk, Paw Patrol Live (Rocky) at Emperor’s Palace, and Momo’s Magical Adventure (Sugar Plum) in Sandton City. Schaefer is ecstatic to be joining HVK Productions’ USA Tour of Bluey’s Big Play this year.
