Assistant director and narrative designer Félix Dagenais holds a bachelor's degree in drama from L'Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2002, he joined the Ex Machina team and worked alongside Robert Lepage on more than a dozen theatrical productions, including The Dragons' Trilogy, The Andersen Project, The Blue Dragon, Lipsynch, and The Riopelle Project. Dagenais also contributed to the creation of the operas Der Ring des Nibelungen and The Tempest presented at The Metropolitan Opera in New York, as well as to the architectural video projection The Image Mill.
He also collaborated with director Brigitte Haentjens on productions such as Hamlet Machine, Vivre, and Rome, and with Martin Genest on the creation of the show Le Hangar des oubliés produced by Cirque du Soleil.
As a co-founder of ATOMIC3, Dagenais worked at this creative studio from 2012 to 2019 as a narrative designer and co-artistic director. He contributed to the creation of several interactive and participatory works, including Iceberg, Maestro, Island of Warmth, and Light Orchestra, which were presented in Montréal and on tour abroad.
