Vanessa Cadrin has worked on more than a hundred productions in different aspects of artistic design—including assistance with direction, costume design, set design, props, puppetry, and makeup—all in different theaters and for different companies in Québec City: Trident, Bordée, Périscope, Les Écornifleuses, Les fonds de Tiroir, Le Transport en commun, and many others.
She received the critics' prize in Québec in 2019 for her scenography of The Dragonfly of Chicoutimi. She designed sets for Patric Saucier’s works presented at the Festival de la Francophonie in Limoges. Cadrin also signed the scenography of Muse from the circus company Flip Fabrique. She provided sets, props, and management for the Beaumont Saint-Michel theater from 2008 to 2017. She was the artistic director of Ballet Jazz, a short film by Maxime Robin based on a short story by Simon Boulerice. For two years, she has been designing costumes for the Québec Carnival parade.
She teaches stage technique management at the Centre d’études collégiales de Montmagny since 2009 and at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec since 2021.
