Welcome to another exceptional season of music and memories at
Wolf Trap, America’s only National Park for the Performing Arts! The arts unite us all, and I can think of no better place to celebrate the beauty of the performing arts in such a glorious natural setting.
This summer marks an especially exciting moment in Wolf Trap’s growth as we open the Meadow Commons. This accessible structure and its many amenities were made possible by the community’s generous support of the recently concluded Campaign for Wolf Trap: Our Next Chapter. The Meadow Commons now joins several other recent upgrades—beautiful Pavilion structures, reconfigured Filene Center seating, backstage upgrades, and the Meadow Overlook picnic decks—to enhance the Wolf Trap experience that you know and love.
In addition to curating and presenting extraordinary performances, the Foundation continues to play a leadership role in early childhood arts education in the Washington, DC area and through a growing network of national affiliates. Additionally, Wolf Trap Opera carries on its exceptional training program for emerging opera talent with a season of incredible productions featuring the genre’s next generation of stars.
Mrs. Shouse’s vision for Wolf Trap was founded in the spirit of philanthropy, and I have no doubt she’d be filled with immense joy to see our strong community of supporters today. On behalf of Wolf Trap Foundation’s Board of Directors, I extend my sincere gratitude to all who value and support Wolf Trap’s arts and education mission. Wolf Trap thrives because of you.
Thank you!
Daniel A. D’Aniello
