CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS

Saturday, February, 05, 2022 | 11:00 AM
Schermerhorn Symphony Center

NASHVILLE SYMPHONY
Enrico Lopez-Yañez, conductor

It’s a zoological musical, featuring a fully orchestrated setting of Saint-Saëns’ classic score, along with engaging songs including “Talk to the Animals” and “Kokowanda Bay.” This imaginative musical journey through the animal kingdom will resonate with any young listener who’s enjoyed the classic children’s book Are You My Mother? When a baby swan is separated from her mother, she must team up with a ragtag group of singing and dancing animals in hopes of making it safely to Kokowanda Bay.

This sensory-friendly concert offers a relaxed atmosphere for patrons of all ages, including accommodations for people on the autism spectrum and people with sensory sensitivities. Learn more.

American Sign Language interpretation provided by Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Captioning provided by Tennessee Captioning.
