Aquarius is the Annapolis Symphony Academy's Wind Ensemble designed to further the ensemble playing skills of young musicians who may have prior experience playing in small ensembles.

Who Qualifies for Aquarius Wind Ensemble?

Driven young woodwind and brass players ages 12 and up, taking weekly one-on-one private lessons with an instructor, either at the Academy through our Virtuoso Pathway*,  or through a private teacher outside the Academy. 

Here are the ways Aquarius enhances and develops the students' orchestral playing:

• Weekly ensemble rehearsals lessons led by Annapolis Symphony Orchestra musicians.
• Perform exciting woodwind and brass repertoire on Annapolis Symphony Academy concerts.
• Participate in exciting collaborations with partner youth orchestras.
