Laura is delighted to return to Santa Cruz Shakespeare where she directed Romeo and Juliet in 2018 and Much Ado About Nothing in the 2015 season. A Milwaukee based actor and director, Laura’s previous work has been seen at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Indiana Rep, Milwaukee Rep, American Players Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Renaissance Theaterworks, Forward Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Next Act Theatre. Favorite acting credits include Happy Days (Winnie), Our Town (Stage Manager), Good People (Margie), Richard III (Elizabeth), Mary Stuart (Elizabeth I), Shakespeare in Love (Nurse), Death of a Salesman (Linda Loman), The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), Doubt (Sister Aloysius), The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Maureen). A member of the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre’s resident acting company for 20 years, Laura is a Lunt-Fontanne Acting Fellow and a member of SDC and Actors Equity Association. She received her MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa.
