Santa Cruz Shakespeare provides a highly-coveted internship program and the chance to work with nationally-renowned artists and production crews, get hands-on experience with classical outdoor repertory theatre, and enjoy summer in sunny Santa Cruz, CA!
We are thrilled to have a full intern company for our 2023 Season. Our program provides acting, directing, stage management, design, dramaturgy, and administrative interns the experience to work closely with professional artists and artisans to allow networking possibilities and to strengthen their craft with opportunities to perform in a repertory company. Interns also rehearse, design, and perform the annual Fringe Show, a production dedicated to intern performance and design.
