Robynn Rodriguez is grateful to finally get the opportunity to work at Santa Cruz Shakespeare. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Robynn received her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
Robynn is an actor who began directing plays professionally in 2013. She has directed at the Utah Shakespeare Festival (King John, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, As You Like It), American Players Theatre (A Lovely Sunday For Creve Coeur), Pacific Conservatory Theatre (Richard III), West Virginia University (Hedda Gabler), University of Texas, Austin (Twelfth Night), Dartmouth College (She Wolf of France) and Rogue Theatre Company, (Chapatti & the upcoming, Circle Mirror Transformation).
Once a resident actor at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, her acting work has been seen at the Public Theatre, Berkeley Rep, Guthrie Theater, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Kennedy Center, the Barbican (UK), among others.
