Kelly Rogers
Katarina

Kelly Rogers is deeply grateful for the opportunity to join the company of Santa Cruz Shakespeare this summer. She returns to the stage after a five-year hiatus working in audio journalism, most recently at the New York Times. Regionally, she's performed with Utah Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, among others. In New York, she collaborated extensively with Theatre Reconstruction Ensemble and Pipeline Theatre Company, performing ensemble-devised work at Ars Nova, HERE Arts Center, and Abrons Art Center, among others. Some favorite Shakespeare roles: Puck, Lady Macbeth, Cassius, and Montjoy. Other passions include: permaculture philosophy and practice, her two cats, and her loving partner Tasso, who is tending the garden while she's gone.
