Annamarie MacLeod
The Merchant

Annamarie MacLeod is delighted to join SCS for the first time! She was most recently in Perspective Theatre’s Richard 2 playing 6 roles, so she’s looking forward to a relaxing summer being only 1 person! Ms. MacLeod has performed as Hamlet in Hamlet, four of the roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Biondello in The Taming of the Shrew, Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, Desdemona in Paula Vogel’s Desdemona, Sylvia in Sylvia, Heloise in Abelard & Heloise, and Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island, among others. She has worked locally with Perspective Theatre Company, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Pacific Repertory Theatre, Bus Barn Stage Company, Woman's Will, the New Conservatory Theatre Center, the Pear Ave Theatre, theatre Q, the Ragged Wing Ensemble, and Dragon Productions. She also works as a voice-over artist, and writes and performs solo shows focusing on women’s issues (but that are also kinda magical and funny). Ms. MacLeod trained in New York at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
