Mariana Garzon Toro is thrilled to be part of her first season at Santa Cruz Shakespeare! She is currently a rising senior Acting major at Carnegie Mellon University. Mariana has been performing since she was 10 years old and hasn’t stopped since. She got her start in Musical Theatre, and has performed various shows at the Connelly Theater in Manhattan with her local theater company. Throughout her time at Carnegie she’s been lucky enough to play Zuzu in Dance Nation, as well as gain a love and appreciation for elevated text in her scene work as Lady Anne in Richard III and Hermione in Euripides’ Andromache. She would like to thank her family, teachers, and mentors.
