About the Show

The music of composer and musician David Jennings is brought to life by the dancers of L-Theory Collective Dance in Dancing as Life. This evening length concert combines dance, live music and videography in an unforgettable, theatrical spectacle that will leave the audience mesmerized.  

The performance will conclude with a Meet and Greet and Question-and-Answer session where the audience will be encouraged to engage with the composer, choreographers and performers.

Presents:
HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis
Friday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Hypnosis and improvisation come together as co-creator Colin Mochrie and master hypnotist Asad Mecci unite for a unique comedy experience. Solely crafted from theaudience’s uninhibited subconscious, this will be an entirely original and completely unforgettable theatrical experience, for who knows where the unconscious mind will go?

MARIACHI HERENCIA DE MÉXICO
Sunday, October 24 at 4 p.m.

This Latin GRAMMY-nominated group of female and male musicians performs masterful mariachi arrangements, with powerful vocals and exquisite harmonies. Based in Chicago, the dynamic ensemble of young Mexican-American musicians keep the history of this festive folk style alive while infusing the music with a modernistic approach.

SWITCHBACK
Sunday, November 7 at 3 p.m.

Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack return, performing their concert, “Traveling down an Irish Road.” Drawing on traditional Celtic music and original Americana songs that reflect their Irish heritage and Midwestern roots, this award-winning duo plays an exciting mix of mandolin, guitar and bass, capped off with their sublime harmonies.

The Ruth Page Center for the Arts 50th Anniversary Presentation
Saturday, December 18 at 1 and 5 p.m.

The quintessential and beloved holiday classic returns in this iconic production —perfect fare for the entire family. Escape to a land where a little girl heroine, her mysterious godfather, whimsical mice, toy soldiers and dancing snowflakes are brought to life in the beautiful Land of Snow and the magical Kingdom of the Sweets.
