Amani Liggett is a Ph.D. candidate at UC Santa Cruz and has previously worked with Santa Cruz Shakespeare and the Undiscovered Shakespeare Project as a dramaturg for Troilus and Cressida in 2021, and for Richard III in 2020. Amani’s dissertation research is focused on Shakespeare’s history plays and contemporary dream theory texts. She received her B.A. from UC Davis in English and Philosophy, and M.A. from Dartmouth College in Liberal Studies. Currently, Amani works as a teaching assistant at UC Santa Cruz in the Literature Department.
