David Morden is returning for his sixth season as voice and text coach with Santa Cruz Shakespeare. He also directed the 2016 SCS intern production of Orlando. He is an Associate Professor of Voice and Movement in the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television where he has coached productions of The Merchant of Venice, Othello, The Comedy of Errors, The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, among others. As an actor, he has performed with Arizona Theatre Company; ACT Theatre; The Rogue Theatre; Arizona Opera; the Utah, Colorado and Seattle Shakespeare Festivals,  and the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC.  He has also performed and taught at Jagriti Theatre in Bangalore, India. He is a Designated Linklater Teacher in voice and a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
