Abigail Lyman, known by most as Abbs, is thrilled to be spending her summer at Santa Cruz Shakespeare! Originally from Akron, Ohio, she now lives in Manhattan. Abbs is a rising senior pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre at MSM. While studying performance she also has developed a deep passion for other parts of her beloved field. In her junior year she directed her first full-length production, Ionesco's Rhinoceros, and she has also served as a student dramaturg on several MSM productions and lab series. Abbs is the President of Alpha Psi Omega, a student theatre organization, where she helps produce multiple productions and further share theatrical opportunities with students across MSM. Abbs owns a small business known as Abbsolutely Earrings. She would like to thank the Baroni family for their incredible hospitality. She would also like to thank her amazing parents, Jennifer and Marty Lyman, for their unconditional love and support as well as her sister Caroline for reminding her to live a life as full as possible.
