Barry G. Funderburg (Composer & Sound Designer) is a Chicagoland composer, designer, and audio engineer who works nationwide in both theatre and live/corporate events, and is happy to make his SCS debut after missing out in 2020 due the pandemic. Barry has received two Chicago Equity Jeff Awards, a St. Louis Theater Circle Award, and a Santa Barbara “Indy” Award. He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829, ASCAP, and the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association, and recently taught at Sound Design & Audio Technology at Purdue University.
