River Navaille (they/them) is an actor, director, and educator local to Monterey; an uninvited guest on Rumsen Ohlone and Esselen lands. River has performed at San Francisco Playhouse in As You Like It (Rosalind); Carmel’s Pac Rep in Fun Home (Adult Alison), Heathers (Heather Chandler), Mary Poppins (Mary), School for Lies (Eliante), and more; and MPC Theatre Co in Romeo & Juliet (Mercutio). River has directed at Western Stage and Paraphrase Productions, and assistant directed at Jewel Theatre. A graduate of UCSC's Masters in Theatre Arts, River now teaches Acting, Theatre, & Media Studies at Hartnell College, where they also direct productions. River is thrilled to make their debut at SCS, and is full of gratitude to their community, family, partner, and students.
