Daphne London, host

PEDRO GONZALEZ was born in Colombia and came to the U.S. at 19. He went to UCLA to get a Ph.D. in Literature so he could get a cushy job teaching at a university and work only a few hours a day. That plan collapsed once he found out stand-up comedy requires only one hour of work a day and he’s been chasing that whale ever since. He also writes and performs in his second language, like Nabokov, and much like Nabokov’s Humbert Humbert, he loves… No, that was a joke. His jokes are about what is like to date, work, and live in America when you were not born in America, and you have an accent, and your name is Pedro. His favorite thing about comedy is to defy stereotypes and challenge his audience’s point of view through intelligent humor.

CANSU is a Kurdish comic living in NYC. She started comedy in the UK where she was nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award and did the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since moving to NYC in 2021, she’s been featured in the New York Comedy Festival in 2022 and 2023.

DAPHNE LONDON is a singer songwriter from central Pennsylvania. She performs a unique blend of sweet melodic comedy with her guitar. Daughter of an immigrant, she was taught to play music at a young age and has been performing her whole life. She has performed in Maryland DC and Pennsylvania, and notably the Kennedy Center.
