Côté Danse
The Tragedy of
Hamlet
Prince of Denmark
Produced by Ex Machina,
Côté Danse, and Dvoretsky Productions

Gates Open:
7 PM

Showtime:
8:30 PM

“To be, or not to be, that is the question.” Experience Shakespeare’s exhilarating tale of revenge, love, and madness with Toronto-based dance company Côté Danse. This spectacular fusion of theater and dance combines the artistic visions of Robert Lepage (Cirque du Soleil, The Metropolitan Opera) and Côté Danse’s founder Guillaume Côté in “a can’t-miss dance event of the year” (The Toronto Guardian). Côté, a former principal dancer of the National Ballet of Canada, brings the titular Prince of Denmark to life in a gripping display of emotion and athleticism.

Pre-Performance Discussion:

Before the performance, join Shakespeare Theatre Company Artistic Producer Drew Lichtenberg and Hamlet Artistic Producer Etienne Lavigne on the Farmhouse Lawn at 7:30 PM for a pre-performance discussion about the program.
